Empowering Justice-Involved and At-Risk Youth
MovingON is a transnational initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (Key Action 3 – European Youth Together). The project seeks to empower young people in conflict with the law or at risk of social exclusion to actively participate in society and the decision-making processes that directly affect their lives.
MovingON is a 24-month transnational project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
Our consortium brings together 9 partner organisations from 6 European countries —Portugal, Italy, Romania, Greece, Spain, and the Netherlands — dedicated to fostering the social inclusion of justice-involved and at-risk youth.
By adopting participatory and restorative approaches, MovingON promotes dialogue between vulnerable youth, youth workers, and policy-makers.
We aim to create a bridge between these young people and the democratic life of their communities, fostering a transition from marginalization to active citizenship.
Our approach centers on VideoVoice, a participatory tool where young people use videography to turn their daily realities into powerful advocacy. By bridging personal stories with restorative practices and direct dialogue, MovingON empowers justice-involved youth to influence policy-makers and help shape a more inclusive Europe.
